Description
A registration count is not an event result
It’s easy to report how many people signed up. It’s harder to say how many showed up, what it cost per lead, and whether the event actually paid for itself — because those numbers usually live in three different places, if anyone tracks them at all.
This kit pulls them into one record per event, with show-up rate, cost per lead, and ROI calculated automatically the moment you log the results.
What you get
1. A 10-sheet Excel workbook
- Start Here — how the sheets connect
- Event & Webinar Log — every event, with registrations, attendees, cost, leads, and revenue
- Registrant Log — individual registrants, who showed up, and what they became
- Promotion Channel Log — what you spent promoting each event, by channel
- Post-Event Survey Summary — satisfaction scores and NPS, logged per event
- Event Performance Summary — show-up rate, cost per lead, and ROI, pulled in automatically
- Channel Performance — which promotion channel drives registrations most efficiently
- Monthly Event Summary — attendance and revenue trend by month, with a chart
- Event Lookup — type an event, see its full record instantly
- Dashboard — events tracked, average show-up rate, total revenue, and your best-ROI event, live
2. An 11-page companion guide (PDF)
How to read a show-up rate honestly, what cost per lead reveals about event format choice, how to use the Promotion Channel Log to decide where to spend next time, and a short post-event review routine.
3. A Notion template
An importable Notion workspace mirroring the key tracking tables, with a quick-reference section and a next-actions checklist.

Compatibility
Microsoft Excel 2016 and later, Microsoft 365, Google Sheets, and LibreOffice Calc. Works with any currency, any channel, and any naming convention — you enter your own data rather than being locked into a fixed list of platforms or categories.
This is a planning and organization tool. It does not constitute tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Results depend on the accuracy of the figures you enter.
Frequently asked questions
Does this register attendees or send invitations?
No — it’s a tracking and analysis tool, not a registration platform. You log the results from whatever platform you use to run the event.
How do I log a walk-up event with no pre-registration, like a trade show booth?
Log it with 0 registrations — the Show-up Rate correctly shows N/A instead of a misleading number, and every other metric still calculates normally.
How many events can I track?
The log ships with room for 30 events — copy a row down to add more.
Will this work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload to Google Drive and open with Google Sheets — formulas, dropdowns, and the chart all carry over.
Can I track registrants becoming customers after the event?
Yes — the Registrant Log has a Lead Status column you update as they move from New to Qualified to Customer.
