Description
A good prompt that lives in someone’s chat history might as well not exist
Most teams have a handful of prompts that genuinely work well, scattered across individual chat histories and Slack messages. Nobody else can find them, and nobody is tracking whether they’re actually any good.
This kit gives every prompt one home, logs every use with an output rating, and shows you — with a number, not a feeling — which prompts are worth standardizing on.
What you get
1. A 10-sheet Excel workbook
- Start Here — how the sheets connect
- Prompt Library — every reusable prompt, with category, use case, and the prompt text itself
- Prompt Usage Log — every use, with output rating and minutes saved
- Prompt Performance — weighted average rating and total value, per prompt, calculated automatically
- Category Performance — which prompt categories perform best, side by side
- Team Usage Breakdown — who’s using the library, and how often
- Monthly Usage Trend — total uses and value trend by month, with a chart
- Rating Distribution — how ratings spread across your whole library, at a glance
- Prompt Lookup — type a prompt, see its full performance record instantly
- Dashboard — prompts in library, total uses, total value generated, and your top-rated prompt, live
2. An 11-page companion guide (PDF)
How to write a prompt library entry that’s reusable by anyone on the team, how to read a weighted average rating honestly, what the Rating Distribution tab reveals about a prompt’s consistency, and a simple monthly prompt-library review routine.

Frequently asked questions
Does this generate or run prompts for me?
No — it’s a library and performance tracker for prompts you’re already using in whatever AI tool you prefer.
How many prompts can the library hold?
The Prompt Library ships with room for 30 prompts — copy a row down to add more.
Can the whole team log usage, not just one person?
Yes — the Prompt Usage Log and Team Usage Breakdown are both built for multiple people logging against the same shared library.
Will this work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload to Google Drive and open with Google Sheets — formulas, dropdowns, and the chart all carry over.
What does ‘weighted average rating’ mean?
A prompt used 50 times counts more toward its average than one used twice — so a lucky single use can’t make a prompt look better than it really is.
