Description
The most expensive launch is the one that should never have happened
Most launch failures are not execution failures. The photography was fine, the ads ran, the page went live on time. The product simply could not work at the price the market would pay — and that was true before anyone took a photograph.
By the time it becomes obvious, the stock is bought and the money is spent. This kit puts the decision first and the plan second.
What you get
1. A 10-sheet Excel workbook
- Start Here — the order to work in, and why it matters
- Product Brief — costs, price, lead time, minimum order
- Go / No-Go — five tests with a single overall verdict
- Demand Scenarios — low, expected and high, and the first order size they imply
- Launch Budget — 16 lines across four categories, budget against actual
- Payback — units and months to break even, judged on the low case
- Launch Checklist — 60 task slots across five phases, due dates counting back from your launch date
- Page & Assets — 25 elements a product page needs, with a readiness check
- Launch Week — fourteen days, day by day, with profit after ads
- Dashboard — where the launch stands, and the reorder decision at the end
2. A 12-page companion guide (PDF)
The three fields people guess optimistically, what to do when a test fails, how to write three demand cases honestly, why the first order is usually sized wrong, which budget line to protect, and how to read the reorder decision without fooling yourself.
3. A Notion template
Five ready-to-import databases: Launch Checklist, Page & Assets, Launch Budget, Launch Week and Launch Decisions.

Frequently asked questions
What if the go/no-go says no?
That is information about the price, the supplier cost or the advertising assumption — not a verdict on the product. Change one of the three and run it again. Many products that fail at the first price work at the second.
I have never launched before. Can I write the demand scenarios?
Yes, and the guide tells you how: widen the gap between low and high rather than narrowing it. Admitting the range is wide is more useful than pretending to a precision you do not have.
Does it tell me how much stock to order?
It suggests the larger of your supplier’s minimum and what three months of expected demand plus one lead time’s cover actually requires. That second part is what most first orders miss — and why a successful launch becomes a stockout in week seven.
Can I use it for a digital product?
Yes. Set the landed cost, minimum order and lead time to zero and the rest works unchanged — the content, page and launch-week sheets apply either way.
Do the checklist dates adjust if the launch slips?
Yes. Every due date counts backwards from the launch date on the brief. Change that one date and the whole plan moves with it.
How does this fit with the other kits?
This one runs up to launch and through the first fourteen days. After that the product becomes ordinary and moves into the Profit Calculator, Inventory and ROAS kits. Nothing is repeated between them.
