Description
Revenue is not profit
Most online sellers can tell you their revenue. Far fewer can tell you what they earned on the last order they shipped. That gap is where e-commerce businesses quietly fail — not in one bad month, but across hundreds of small orders that each lost a little.
This kit closes the gap. It takes one product at a time and strips out every cost between the supplier invoice and the money that lands in your bank: landed cost, marketplace commission, listing fees, payment processing, fulfilment, ad spend and returns. Then it tells you what is left.
What you get
1. A 10-sheet Excel workbook
- Start Here — how the workbook fits together and which cells are yours
- Settings — set your tax treatment, return rate and target margin once
- Product Costs — landed cost per SKU, up to 30 products
- Channel Fees — the full fee structure for up to 8 sales channels
- Profit Per Unit — the complete cost stack and net margin for every SKU
- Break-Even Price — the lowest price you can charge without losing money
- Channel Comparison — the same product priced across every channel
- Order Economics — whole-basket profit, including the real cost of free shipping
- Monthly Tracker — twelve months of actuals
- Dashboard — year-to-date figures and product health at a glance
2. A 12-page companion guide (PDF)
Not a manual. It explains the reasoning behind each formula, why cost-plus pricing loses money on high-fee channels, what belongs in landed cost and what does not, how to read a marketplace fee schedule, and a monthly routine that keeps the numbers honest.
3. A Notion template
Four ready-to-import databases: SKU Profit Tracker, Channel Fee Reference, Monthly Results and an Action Board.

Frequently asked questions
Will this work in Google Sheets?
Yes. Upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. All formulas carry over. The colour coding and dropdowns work too.
Do I need to know Excel?
No. You type into the yellow cells; everything else calculates itself. The guide walks through each sheet in order.
How many products can I track?
30 SKUs and 8 sales channels as supplied. You can add rows if you need more — copy an existing row down and the formulas follow.
Does it work for any marketplace?
Yes. Rather than hard-coding one platform’s rates, the workbook lets you enter commission, listing fee, payment percentage, fixed fee and fulfilment cost for each channel yourself — so it stays accurate when fees change.
Is the Notion template required?
No. It’s included for people who track work in Notion. The Excel workbook is complete on its own.
Can I use this for my clients?
You may use it in work you deliver to clients. You may not resell or redistribute the files themselves.
